Carol's 50th birthday party was a happy day and one we will always cherish and remember with love. She was glowing and so happy. I (Melissa) have many pictures of that day of Carol smiling and just content. Carol had her 50th birthday and the Monmouth racetrack. She had her own party area and lots of family and friends came to celebrate this milestone. It was very hot that day but we had a great time. I remember my mom sending me to bet on horses and I had no idea what a 'trifecta" was (I still don't and I don't think I spelled that right!). She told me to get a trifecta and I was like "a tri whatta??". Lol. My mom wore the "birthday girl" sash that I wore for my 21st birthday and it looked so cute on her. I wish I remembered more of that day and if I do I'll edit this post.
